SEÇKİN PİRİM 1977
Starting his artistic education at Istanbul Anatolian Fine Arts College
in painting (1991) Seçkin Pirim graduated from MSU Faculty of Fine Arts
with a Post-Graduate Degree in Sculpture.
He has
opened several personal exhibitions at CAM Art Gallery such as "Zerre/Particle",
"Arada Zamanlar/In-between Times", "Terk-i Akis/Farewell Echo",
“Bir Kültür Merkezi/A Cultural Centre”, "Öldüğüm Anlar/The Times I
Died". Seçkin Pirim also opened concept exhibitions named "Talents" at
Ambiente and “Sadece/Only” at Elturco Art Gallery as well as a
number of national and international mixed exhibitions and symposiums.
The artist has been awarded first prize at IMMIB Metal-Plastic
Industrial Design Contest in 2005, “Design of the Year” at 2003 Istanbul
International ADesign Design Fair and first prize for Istanbul Mint
Memorabilia Coin Design in 1997. Several of his works are placed in
buildings and public areas.
