NECMİ ÖZGÜR
Born, Kircaali – Bulgaria in 1966 graduated from Mimar Sinan University
Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Sculpture in 1989. He was part of
several monument projects and received several awards as of 1986. Some
include: 1991 Turkish State Medals and Decoration contest first, second
and honourable mention prize; 1991 Ankara Sidewalk Sculptures Project
and Application; and 1993 Martyrs of Democracy and Secularism
competition and application. In addition to a long list of mixed
exhibitions the artist has also opened his personal exhibition “Solid
Memory” at the Atatürk Culture Centre in 2005.
