FERİT ÖZŞEN
Born,
Konya Taşkent in 1943. Started education at the atelier of Hüseyin Gezer
at Istanbul State Faculty of Fine Arts, Art & Sculpture Department. The
Austrian Scholarship helped him continue his education at Fritz
Wotruba’s Atelier in Vienna. Graduated in 1971 and became Prof. Şadi
Çalık’s assistant. Özşen became professor at Mimar Sinan University
(MSU) in 1998, Director of Istanbul art and Sculpture Museum in 2005 and
still is a tutor at MSU. He has attended several national and
international exhibitions and symposiums. The artist is also the founder
of several artistic organisations.
